Pupillary Distance
One tiny number, better precision
PD is the fit detail your lenses love.
Pupillary distance is the distance between the centers of your pupils. It helps us place prescription lens power exactly where your eyes need it.
Ask your eye doctor
Your optometrist or optician may already have your PD on file. If it is not printed on your prescription, just ask.
Use a PD app
Apps such as EyeMeasure for iPhone or GlassesOn for Android can help measure PD from your phone.
Send it with your prescription
If you have it, include it when you order or send it after. If you do not have it, we can still help you move forward.
Is PD required?
No. PD is helpful and recommended for prescription orders, but it is not required to place your order.
Why does PD matter?
PD helps center the lenses in front of your pupils. That can improve clarity, comfort, and the overall wearing experience, especially for stronger prescriptions.
What is single PD vs dual PD?
Single PD is one number across both eyes. Dual PD gives one measurement for each eye. If your prescription or doctor provides dual PD, send both numbers.
What if I order before I have it?
That is okay. If we need anything else, we will reach out. You can also send prescription details after ordering.
